To Whom are Ye a Servant?
Romans 6:16....
"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

Moroni 8: 8-15
Concerning infant baptism....
8) Listen to the words of Christ, your Redeemer, your Lord and your God. Behold, I came into the world not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance; the whole need no physician, but they that are sick; wherefore, little children are whole, for they are not capable of committing sin; wherefore the curse of Adam is taken from them in me, that it hath no power over them; and the law of circumcision is done away in me.
9) And after this manner did the Holy Ghost manifest the word of God unto me; wherefore, my beloved son, I know that it is solemn mockery before God, that ye should baptize little children.
10) Behold I say unto you that this thing shall ye teach—repentance and baptism unto those who are accountable and capable of committing sin; yea, teach parents that they must repent and be baptized, and humble themselves as their little children, and they shall all be saved with their little children.
11) And their little children need no repentance, neither baptism. Behold, baptism is unto repentance to the fulfilling the commandments unto the remission of sins.
12) But little children are alive in Christ, even from the foundation of the world; if not so, God is a partial God, and also a changeable God, and a respecter to persons; for how many little children have died without baptism!
13) Wherefore, if little children could not be saved without baptism, these must have gone to an endless hell.
14) Behold I say unto you, that he that supposeth that little children need baptism is in the gall of bitterness and in the bonds of iniquity; for he hath neither faith, hope, nor charity; wherefore, should he be cut off while in the thought, he must go down to hell.
15) For awful is the wickedness to suppose that God saveth one child because of baptism, and the other must perish because he hath no baptism.
I love this. It's so beautiful and comforting to know that children are "alive in Christ" and automatically guaranteed a place in heaven with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It just makes perfect sense.

Romans 8: 16-17
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Yesssss! It makes all the hard work worth it!

Yesssss! It makes all the hard work worth it!

1 Corinthians 13: 1-8, 13
1. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8. Charity never faileth.
13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is CHARITY.

1 Corinthians 2:9
There are SO many scriptural passages that I LOVE and that speak to my heart with such power and meaning. I will try to post some of them here on a somewhat regular basis. Depending on the busyness of my day, I may post more frequently than on other days.
Today's spiritual thought---such a beautiful promise: 1 Corinthians 2:9....

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

My Work Here is Done
I completed my collection on my living room wall this weekend. The kids have all been raised. My work here is done. Can I rest now?
